Candidates who qualified for the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main can register for OJEE counselling 2025 at ojee.nic.in. Candidates taking part in OJEE counselling will receive seat allocations according to their rank and preferences indicated for admission throughout the application procedure.

What is OJEE Counselling

The OJEE counselling is crucial step for candidates seeking admission into undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses such as BTech, BPharm, MBA, MCA, and MTech across colleges in Odisha. The OJEE counselling takes place in online mode. All rank holders can take part in the counselling process regardless of their admission status. OJEE 2025 counselling is conducted online for the final allocation of seats.

Candidates who pass the exam can take part in the OJEE counseling sessions according to their ranks and timetable. OJEE Counselling 2025 Notification

A statement in the OJEE 2025 counselling notification reads, “Students need to understand these rules to avoid any confusion. OJEE authority will not be responsible if a student does a mistake by not understand the rules correctly.” It is to be noted that the OJEE counselling 2025 will be held in 3 rounds.

OJEE Counselling 2025 Process

OJEE stated that following the final allotment, all candidates who submit the part admission and seat confirmation fee as well as verify their documents can download the final allotment letter and go to the allotted institute/college according to the schedule.

Applicants who fail to report to the designated institute will be deemed canceled for admission, and the open spot will be filled during the institute/college-level admission process.

Allocation to 2nd OJEE/special OJEE candidates will occur solely from the available seats. Consequently, applicants need to be careful when selecting their preferences for the second or special round.

Candidates who fail to secure a seat after the first and second rounds or whose allotment is revoked but are still eligible for later rounds may adjust their preferences by providing consent, it stated.

Steps Involved in OJEE Counselling 2025

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination 2025 counselling will consist of the following steps.

Step 1: OJEE Counseling Registration – Initially, eligible candidates must register online for the OJEE counseling process and pay the counseling fee. Aspirants must provide the subsequent information for OJEE 2025 counseling registration. Upon submitting the aforementioned information, candidates must pay the OJEE 2025 counseling fee online using a debit/credit card or via internet banking.

Step 2: Option Entry and Choice Locking- In this phase, candidates must input their preferred colleges and courses based on their interests. Applicants are encouraged to select the highest possible number of options to boost their likelihood of acceptance. Applicants must finalize their selections within the designated limit.

Step 3: Provisional seat allocation – The officials will publish the temporary seat allocation based on the preferences finalized by the candidates and the OJEE rank list. Candidates can verify their OJEE seat allocation results via the official website. Candidates will additionally get their seat allotment status sent to their registered email and mobile number.

Step 4: Reporting at Nodal Centers for Admission Fee Payment – Candidates assigned seats in the temporary seat allotment must go to the nodal reporting centers to verify documents and pay the admission fees. Candidates must also submit a seat confirmation fee of Rs 25,000 at any Axis Bank or State Bank branch via e-Challan or online using a credit/debit card.
