The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has made the entire NIOS Date Sheet 2026 for the April 2026 Exam available on its official website. Students preparing for Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) exams can view subject-specific NIOS exam dates 2026 online. NIOS Date Sheet 2026 OUT
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the NIOS Date Sheet 2026 for Class 10 and Class 12 theory exams in April 2026 on March 25, 2026. The NIOS Class 10, 12 exam would be held at more than 7400 exam centers across India starting on the same day, as per the official notice.
NOTE – NIOS has modified Class 10 and 12 exam dates in several states, including Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh. This was done due to assembly elections, other competitive tests, and state-specific vacations.
NIOS 2026 Practical Exam
The NIOS practical tests for Classes 10 and 12 are already underway.
- The practical examinations began on March 17 and will continue until April 1, 2026.

In order to arrange their NIOS Board preparation appropriately, students are encouraged to download the comprehensive NIOS date sheet 2026 and frequently check the official website for updates. The theory exam is 80 marks, and the practical is 20 marks.
Students will get a total of 3 hours to solve the paper, and before the exam begins, they will have fifteen minutes to peruse the question paper i. Timeline for results. NIOS 10th Date Sheet 2026
The NIOS 10th date Sheet 2026 will continue until May 6, 2026, from April 10th. The NIOS timetable provides a diverse set of subjects for both Class 10 and Class 12 students. Exams often take place in the afternoon shift, between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM, depending on the subject. Check the subject-wise exam date below.
