JEE Mains Session 2 Result 2025 OUT
This year’s NTA JEE Main Session 2 Paper I was held in 531 centres spanning 285 cities in India and 15 international cities on April 2, April 3, April 4, April 7, and April 8. The Paper 2 examination was held on April 9, 2025. The wait of more than 12 lakhs of students who appeared in Session 2 are now now over as the JEE Mains Result 2025 Session 2 is now announced by NTA after a day delay.
NTA earlier released the provisional answer key for Session 2 Paper 1 on April 11, and offered the opportunity for objections until April 13, 2025. In response to objections of inaccuracies in the JEE Mains Answer Key, the NTA releases the final answer key a day before the JEE Mains Session 2 result announcement.
JEE Mains 2025 Result Session 2 Updates
The JEE Main 2025 session 2 results and final answer key have been released online simultaneously at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Note that the JEE Main 2025 result for Paper 1 (BE, BTech) is now available first, followed by the result for Paper 2 in the next few days. JEE Main 2025 Session 2 result: How are NTA scores calculated?
Percentile = 100 × (Number of candidates with a raw score equal to or less than the candidate’s score) / (Total number of candidates in the session)
JEE Mains Result 2025 Normalisation Process
The JEE Main exam is conducted in multiple sessions, resulting in varying difficulty levels. To address this, officials will adopt normalisation. The NTA will announce normalised JEE Main 2025 scores, indicating the percentage of examinees with scores equal to or lower than the highest-scoring applicant in that session. The formula to calculate NTA scores is as follows:
Formula = (100 x number of candidates who appeared in the session with a raw score equal to or less than the candidate) / total number of candidates who appeared in that session
What after JEE Mains Result 2025 Session 2?
JEE Main Session 2 Result 2025 includes information regarding candidates’ scores in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as an aggregate score for all three subjects, the candidate’s All India rank, and the JEE Main cut off 2025 percentile. Candidates who appeared in both the January and April sessions will have their All-India rank determined using the best score from both sessions.
Candidates who achieve the minimum JEE Main 2025 marks to qualify for JEE Advanced can register for JEE Advanced 2025 beginning April 23. Candidates having scores lower than the JEE Main cut off 2025 may participate in JoSAA counselling for admission to NITs, IIITs, and other GFTIs.
