The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) in Dharamshala has published the updated HP Board 12th Result 2025 on its official website – hpbose.org. Students can view their HPBOSE 12th revised marks by entering their roll number. Hemraj Bairwa, Chairman of HPBOSE, announced the revised HPBOSE 12th revised result 2025 via a press release on May 21.

The HPBOSE 12th revised result 2025 has shown an increase in total number of students passed as well as overall pass percentage. According to the revised result, a total of 76,315 students have successfully passed the HPBOSE Class 12 exam, which is 5,724 higher than the earlier figure of 71,591. The total pass percentage has risen from 83.16% to 88.64% after adjustments made by the board.

The Board announced that it conducted a reevaluation of results to guarantee transparency and accuracy in the evaluation procedure. Why was HP Board 12th Result 2025 Revised?

The problem started when the Class 12 English exam was scheduled for March 8, but it was abruptly canceled on March 7. In Chuwari, located in the Chamba district, the incorrect question papers were opened by mistake. They distributed 12th-grade English papers instead of the 10th-grade ones they were supposed to.

Upon discovering this error, the board cancelled the exam and conducted a new test. However, another error occurred—while computing the final results, they used scores from the canceled exam instead of the recent one. This led to students receiving incorrect scores.

The HP Board will publish the final merit list for the HPBOSE 12th result 2025 following the announcement of the re-evaluation and re-inspection results. As the new scores are released, students who remain dissatisfied with their grades can request their papers be reviewed again or ask for a re-evaluation.
