FTII JET Exam Syllabus

The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) is responsible for designing the FTII JET syllabus. The FTII JET 2026 syllabus has not been declared yet. According to the FTII JET 2025 syllabus, the questions will be based on Arts & Crafts, Film & TV, Allied Arts, Literature, General Awareness, Environmental Awareness, and General Knowledge. From this article, we will provide the information about the FTII JET Exam syllabus and exam pattern.

FTII JET Exam 2026 Syllabus

FTII JET exam is an assessment that evaluates candidates on their knowledge of Film and TV. To get a better understanding of the FTII JET syllabus, the students first have to understand the pattern of this exam. The admission procedure of the FTII JET entrance exam is held in two stages: Stage 1 (Written Test) and Stage II (Mixed Format Assessment-Practical, Analytical, Performance & Interaction). The Stage 1 exam is divided into two parts: Section I (Objective) and Section II (Subjective).

The FTII JET paper has questions from Film & TV, Arts & Crafts, Allied Arts, Literature, Environmental Awareness, General Knowledge, and General Awareness. The paper tests the candidate’s knowledge of the course and specialization chosen.

FTII JET exam: Exam Pattern

The FTII JET question paper for Stage 1 consists of 30 questions in Paper I of 2 marks each, and subjective questions of 40 marks in total. The table given below is a tentative exam pattern that you can follow:

Marking Scheme for FTII JET Exam 2026

As per the previous year’s syllabus, we had analyzed the marking scheme based on the last 2 years’ Exam pattern. The exam carries 100 marks and is divided into 2 sections:
