CBSE Practical Exam Dates 2025-2026 OUT, Class 10, 12th Practical Exam starts on Nov 6 for Winter Bound Schools

After the publication of the CBSE date sheet for theory exams, the Central Board of Secondary Education has now issued the CBSE Practical Exam Dates 2025-2026 for Winter-bound and Non-winter-bound schools. As per the announcement, the class 10th and 12th practical exams for the Winter-bound schools are scheduled to start on November 6, 2025, whereas the CBSE-affiliated schools of the rest of India will start on January 1, 2026. 

As the CBSE 10th and 12th practical dates have now been announced, students now start finalising their project work and internal assessment as soon as possible. As 10th and 12th practical exams are administered at the school level, students are advised to contact their school’s concerned body to know their exact CBSE practical exam date and time for the academic year 2025-2026.

CBSE Practical Exam Dates 2025-2026

The CBSE Board 10th and 12th examinations for the academic year 2025-26 will begin on February 15, 2025, and now CBSE practical exam dates 2025-26 are now scheduled in November 2025/January 2025. The Central Board of Secondary Education will now conduct practical exams for high school and intermediate students in advance. Practical examinations/projects/internal assessments for the term 2025-26 for both classes 10 and 12 in winter-bound schools will be held from November 6 to December 6, 2025. CBSE Class 10 and 12 Practical Exams, Project Work, and Internal Assessments will begin on January 1, 2025, in CBSE-affiliated schools in India and overseas. The Class 10 internal assessment will only be conducted once; thus, all schools should fill up the IA marks for all candidates throughout the time frame specified.

The CBSE has issued the schedule for practical exams for the 2025-26 academic session, allowing winter-bound institutions to finish them between November 6 and December 6. CBSE issued guidelines for School Authorities

With the CBSE Practical Exam 2025 approaching, schools and students should begin their preparations. CBSE will send a notification to schools with instructions. Schools have been instructed to ensure that the CBSE 10th and 12th practical exams are completed on time.

• Schools must compile a final list of candidates and guarantee that no student whose name has not been submitted to the Board via the online LOC is permitted to participate in these practical examinations/projects/internal assessments.
• The results of practical exams will be uploaded starting from the date of the practical examinations. The uploading of marks must be finished by the last day of practical exams. When uploading the marks, the School Principal, Internal Examiner, and External Examiner must ensure that the right marks are uploaded, as no corrections to the marks will be permitted once the marks are uploaded.
• Internal assessments for normal students will be undertaken by the schools in accordance with the subject’s curriculum. The internal assessment for all regular applicants will only be conducted once, and the same marks will apply to candidates who desire to participate in the second board test.
• Schools must create a list of eligible candidates while also coordinating with regional officers for external examiners and observers.
• Practical tests can be held in many sessions, depending on the availability of the lab. Once the marks are uploaded, no adjustments are permitted, and any malpractice or unfair means will be reported to the board.
