The CBSE Class 12th Result 2025 has been released with an impressive passing percentage of 88.39%. It has informed all the students and their parents that the board has discontinued releasing the CBSE Class 12 Toppers List 2025 to promote health competition. Instead of the CBSE 12th result toppers list, the overall and district-wise pass percentage, girls vs boys pass rate, and other stats have been released. All the students who appeared in the exam can now check their results at https://results.cbse.nic.in/ using their login details such as roll number, school number, and admit card ID.
CBSE Class 12 Toppers List 2025

As per the CBSE Class 12th result 2025 statistics, in this session, a total of 17,04,367 students registered, but only 16,92,794 appeared, and 14,96,307 passed the exam, yielding a pass percentage of 88.39%.
If we see the CBSE Class 12 school-wise results. then we will find This year, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVS) have the highest pass percentage at 99.29%, followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) at 99.05% and Central Tibetan Schools (STSS) at 98.96%.

CBSE Class 12th Toppers 2025 Girls vs Boys
Just like the prior years, girls have again outperformed boys in CBSE Class 12th results by more than 5.94% marks. According to the data, more than 91% of girls passed the exam. CBSE Class 12th boys achieved a pass rate of 85.12% in 2024, but improved to 85.70% this year.
- Boy’s Pass percentage: 85.70%
- Girls’ Pass Percentage: 91%
Notably, transgender students achieved a success rate of 100%, a considerable increase from their pass rate of 50% in 2024.
CBSE 12th Toppers 2025: JNVS topped the list
As earlier said, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVS) topped the list, with a pass rate of 99.29% in the CBSE Class 12 results.
- Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVS) pass rate: 99.29%
- Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) Pass rate: 99.05%
- Central Tibetan Schools (STSS) Pass rate: 98.96%.
- Government-aided schools pass percentage: 91.57%,
- Government schools Pass percentage: 90.48%.
- Independent (private) schools pass rate: 87.94 per cent.
CBSE Class 12 Topper Science, Commerce, Arts Stream: Previous Years
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not release a list of toppers for the Class 10 and Class 12 results this year, as it has done in previous years, in order to discourage unhealthy academic competition among students. Last year, Aranya Halder was the CBSE Board class 12 topper with 495 marks. He was from the DPS school in Ruby Park. Arjoe Basak got the second place in the topper list. Anikait Chakraborty is the 3rd rank holder.
