CBSE Class 12 Physics Code 042 Exam Pattern 2026 [Latest]

The CBSE Class 12 Physics board exam 2026 will be a 3-hour paper carrying 70 marks in total. The question paper has 33 questions divided into five sections. Section A includes 16 questions, out of which 12 are objective-type and 4 are Assertion-Reasoning, all for 1 mark each. Section B has 5 short-answer questions carrying 2 marks each. Section C contains 7 questions of 3 marks each. Section D comes with 2 case-study-based questions, each worth 4 marks. Section E has 3 detailed questions, each of 5 marks.
