CBSE Date Sheet 2026 Out for Class 12, Board Exams Start on 17 Feb

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2026 in PDF format at www.cbse.gov.in. This is the very first time the CBSE Board Exam Date sheet 2026 Class 12th has been issued five months earlier from the commencement of the Class 12th board exams. As per the timetable, the CBSE Senior School Certificate Examination 2026 (Class 12) is scheduled to start on February 17, 2026, and conclude on April 4, 2026.

CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2026 Out

As per the proposed Date Sheet of Class 12 2025 CBSE Board, the exams will commence on February 17, 2026, with streams comprising Science, Commerce, and Humanities and end on Thursday, 9th April 2026. According to the CBSE 12 date sheet 2026, the CBSE Class 12 exams would start with biotechnology, entrepreneurship, and shorthand (English and Hindi), whereas Class 12th Mathematics and Applied Mathematics will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026.

CBSE Class 10th, 12th  Tantative Date Sheet 2026

For this year, the board has made reforms in the evaluation process as well as in the result announcements. According to the Board’s standards, the review of CBSE answer scripts will commence approximately ten days following each subject’s exam and is expected to be completed within twelve days. For example, if the Class 12 Physics exam is held on February 20, 2026, evaluation will begin on March 3 and end on March 15, 2026. Following the successful completion of the exam, the results of the Class 10th and 12th board exams will be released on July 15, 2026.

In the press release, the board stated that CBSE class 12 Board Exams will be held in a single shift on exam days, beginning at 10:30 a.m. However, students should be aware that CBSE has indicated that this is a tentative Class 12th Board Exam schedule for the upcoming CBSE Board exams 2026, and that it may be revised if necessary.
