BSEB 12th Chemistry Question Paper 2024 Design
Before checking the answer key, students must know the question paper design in order to know how to check the answers. The BSEB 12th chemistry question paper 2024 design was already released by the BSEB and the same design was followed in the 2024 board exam paper. The Question Paper of the BSEB class 12 Chemistry had two sections/parts, namely section A and section B. The BSEB Class 12 Question Paper Design 2024 is given below for each sections.
Section A: Objective/Multiple Choice Type Questions
- There were a total of 70 questions in this section, of which only 35 were to be answered by the students.
- If more than 35 questions are answered by any student, then only the first 35 will be evaluated for marking.
- Each question of this section carries 1 mark, so the sectional weightage becomes 50 marks.
Section B: Descriptive Type Questions
The Section B of the Chemistry exam paper of the Bihar Board class 12 contains descriptive type questions. The Section B has two types of questions. The detail of the questions-type asked in the Section B is given below.
Short-answer questions
- There ware a total of 20 short questions in this part of the section, of which only 10 were to be answered by the students.
- If more than 10 short questions are answered by any student, then only the first 10 will be evaluated for marking.
- Each question of this section carries 2 mark, so the total marks allocated for short answer-type questions was 20 marks.
Long-answer questions
- There were a total of 6 long questions in this part of the section B, of which only 3 were to be answered by the students.
- If more than 3 long questions are answered by any student, then only the first 3 will be evaluated for marking.
- Each question of this part carries 5 mark, so the total marks allocated for long answer-type questions was 15 marks.
