This year, around 25,000 applicants took the entrance exam, conducted on June 2 & 3, 2025. AP DEECET 2025 Qualifying Marks

Applicants appeared for the Andhra Pradesh DEIEd entrance exam must achieve scores higher than the qualifying marks to qualify for admission. Candidates can verify their eligibility status once the AP DEECET 2025 results are announced. The passing marks for the AP DEECET are 50% for students belonging to the general and OBC categories. The minimum passing marks for SC and ST candidates in the AP DEECET are 45%.

AP DEECET Result 2025 Out- What’s Next for Students

Candidates who pass the AP DEECET must take part in the counselling process. The Andhra Pradesh DEECET 2025 counselling process is expected to begin in the first week of July 2025. Admissions to all Government DIETs and Category ‘A’ seats of Private Unaided Elementary Teacher Training Institutions will occur through a Single Window System based on merit according to the rank given in DEECET.

This process will initiate with the submission of web options, enabling candidates to select their desired colleges according to their rank.

AP DEECET Result 2025 Seat Allotment

All the approved capacity of seats in the D.El.Ed program in the Government. DIETs and Convener quota (Category-A) in private unaided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions will be filled by the Convener DEECET-2025. Seats will be assigned to candidates according to their rank achieved in DEECET-2025.

The admitting capacity at each institution may vary periodically as determined by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). Subsequently, seat allocation will be carried out based on the candidate’s ranking and the preferences given. After seats are assigned, candidates must participate in certificate verification at specified centers to finalize the admission process.
