How to do NEET 2026 Registration?
Registering yourself at the NTA NEET Official portal is one of the most crucial phases in the MBBS Journey. The NEET UG 2026 is the initial stage before moving to the application form filling phase and document submission. Follow the complete registration process described below
Step 1: Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency at https://neet.nta.nic.in/
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the highlighted link labelled as ” New Registration”
Step 3: In the following Online registration form, candidates should provide the required details such as candidates Full Name, Date of Birth, Father/mother’s name, valid mobile number and Email address.
Step 4: Candidates must create a password, select a security question, and provide an answer (small caps).
Step 5: After submitting brief personal details, an Application Number will be generated and shared through the given mobile number and email.
Step 6: Applicants must save this number to complete the following steps of the Application Form and for future correspondence. Candidates can use their system-generated Application Number and Password for future logins.
Key Instructions regarding Mobile Number and Email
Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number supplied in the Online Application Form are their own and/or the parents’/guardians’ own, as all information/communication will be transmitted by NTA via e-mail to the registered e-mail address or SMS to the registered mobile number. NTA shall not be held accountable for any erroneous credentials.
Filling out the NEET Application form
Followed the successful registration, candidates should utilise the system-generated Application Number and pre-created Password to complete the Application Form. This includes filling out personal details, selecting the Question Paper Medium and Examination Cities, providing educational qualifications, and uploading images/documents. Candidates must pay the examination cost after filling out all necessary details. Fees can only be submitted online via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI.
