Question

The area of a triangle is 480 cm² and the ratio of its sides is 10 : 24 : 26. What is the perimeter of the triangle?

A.

120 cm

B.

30 cm

C.

150 cm

D.

60 cm

Correct option is A

Let the side of the triangle be 10x, 24x and 26x.
Area of triangle = ½ × base × height
480 = ½ × 24x ×10x
x² = 4
x = 2
Now, perimeter of triangle
= (10x + 24x + 26x) = 60x = 120
