    Quadratic formula m=b±b24ac2a=\dfrac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}}{2a}​, for am2+bm+c=0.m^{2}+bm+c=0.​​

    Solution:
    Here, a = 4; b = 6; c = 2.
    Discriminant: Δ=b24ac=624×4×2=3632=4\Delta=b^{2}-4ac=6^{2}-4\times4\times2=36-32=4​​
    m =6±42×4\frac{-6\pm\sqrt{4}}{2\times4}​​

    =6±28\frac{-6\pm2}{8}​​
    Roots:
    m=6+28=48=12,=\frac{-6+2}{8}=\frac{-4}{8}=-\frac{1}{2},​​

    m=628=88=1=\frac{-6-2}{8}=\frac{-8}{8}=-1​​
