Given: 

Aryan takes = 2 times time taken by Vipin 

Concept Used:  

Total work = Efficiency $$\times$$ time 

​$$\implies Efficiency \propto \frac{1}{time}$$ 

Solution: 

​$$\frac{\text{ Aryan's time}}{\text{ Vipin's time}} = \frac{2}{1} \\ \ \\ \implies \frac{\text{Aryan's Efficiency}}{\text{Vipin's Efficiency}} = \frac{1}{2}$$ 

Together they finishes the work in 2 days,

then, total work = $$2 \times (2+1) = 6 \,unit$$ 

Now, time take by Vipin  = $$\frac{6}{2} = \bf 3\, days$$​​
