Formula Used:
Rate = Work / Time
Rate of individual = (Rate of all three) − (Rate of remaining two)
Time taken alone = Total Work / Individual Rate
Solution:
Assume total work = 100 units.
Work done in first 4 days = 46 units.
Rate of all three = 46 ÷ 4 = 11.5 units/day.
Remaining work = 100 − 46 = 54 units.
Rate of Pinki and Chinki = 54 ÷ 9 = 6 units/day.
