Bihar Police SI Selection Process
The Recruitment of the Bihar Police Sub Inspector consists of five steps. Candidates have to pass each stage to get appear for the next steps and complete the recruitment process. The exam pattern is the physical standard and the test is based on the notification released by the Bihar Police. Bihar Police SI Prelims Exam Pattern
According to the notice released the written prelims exam is of 200 marks, consists of one section only. i.e, General Knowledge & Current Issues. The prelims exam is the first stage of the recruitment process. The test is for two hours. Check the details in the table below.
- The written exam is an objective Multiple Choice format.
- The exam will be a Computer Based Online paper.
- The minimum qualifying marks for prelims are 30% marks i.e., 60 marks.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.2 Marks for each wrong answer.
- The Written Exam paper is for 2 hours (120 Minutes).

Bihar Police SI Mains Exam Pattern
According to the notice released the mains exam is of 400 marks, consists of two sections only. i.e, General Hindi & General Studies. The prelims exam is the second stage of the recruitment process. The test is for four hours. Check the details in the table below.
- The written exam is an objective Multiple Choice format.
- The General Hindi is qualifying in nature, every candidate needs to score 30% to qualify.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.2 Marks for each wrong answer.
- The Written Exam paper is for 4 hours (240 Minutes).
- Only 6 times the number of vacancies will be called for the PET exam.
