The WBPRB conducted the WB Sub-Inspector Physical Test across the state from 17 November 2025 onwards. The physical Test was completed within three days. West Bengal Sub Inspector Selection Process

Candidates can check the stages of the WB SI Selection process provided below.

• Preliminary Exam–  The first stage of selection process is the preliminary examination, the WBPRB has conducted the WB SI prelims examination on 12 October and released the result in November. Candidates who cleared the prelims examination were called for physical Test.
• Physical Test– The Second Stage of the selection process is Physical Test, which was conducted from 17th November 2025. The board will release the SI physical test result
• Final Competitive Mains exam– The third stage is Final Competitive Mains examination, candidates who qualify in the mains examination will be shortlisted for the personality test.
• Personality Test–  The Personality test is conducted to evaluate the candidate’s overall personality and suitability for the Sub Inspector post
• Document Verification– The Final stage is document verification,  where candidates who clear all previous stages must produce original documents. Candidates should ensure that all documents are valid and updated.
