The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has conducted the TNPSC Group 2 Prelims Written Exam at multiple exam centres across the state on 28 September 2025.

TNPSC Group 2 Question Paper 2025 Out

The Group 2 Prelims exam has been conducted in offline mode in a single shift only from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm. By downloading the question paper, every candidate who will start the preparation for the next recruitment cycle can properly analyse the questions asked in today’s exam.

Through this paper, candidates can also know the difficulty level, exam structure and focus on those subjects on which the maximum questions were asked.

Group 2 Prelims Question Paper 2025

In the Group 2 Prelims Exam, the questions were asked from these subjects, such as General Tamil or General English, General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability Test, etc.

Out of 200 questions, 75 questions were asked from General Studies, 25 questions were asked from Aptitude and Mental Ability Test and 100 questions from the language subject.

TNPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern 2025 For Prelims & Mains Exam

The TNPSC Group 2 Exam 2025 includes a Preliminary Exam, Mains (Paper I & II), and an Interview (only for Group 2 posts). The Preliminary is for 300 marks, and the Mains consists of Paper I (100 marks) and Paper II (300 marks).

To qualify, candidates need 90 marks in the Prelims and 25 in Mains Paper I. For interview posts, candidates must score 102 out of 340 (including the interview).
