SSC Selection Post Apply Online 2026
SSC is conducting the application process for Phase XIV on its official website at www.ssc.gov.in. The process starts with one-time registration (OTR) and ends with online application fee payment. Candidates have to submit their live photograph and signature along with other required documents. The SSC Phase 14 Apply Online Last Date is 4th May 2026 and the window will close after that. Who can apply for SSC Phase 14?
Candidates who possess the following qualifications can apply. The posts notified under Phase 14 are classified by education level:
- 10th Pass (Matriculation) posts
- 12th Pass (Higher Secondary) posts
- Graduate-level posts
Age limits differ post-wise, generally ranging between 18 and 30 years, with relaxations available for reserved categories as per government rules.

Steps to Fill Out the SSC Selection Application Form Online
Step 1: Apply Separately for Each Post Category
You must submit separate applications for each category of post you wish to apply for.

Step 2: Apply Only in Online Mode
Applications are accepted only online via official website @ssc.gov.in or mySSC mobile app (Google Play Store)
Step 3: Note the Last Date
The last date to submit the online form is 4th May 2026 (up to 11:00 PM). Apply early to avoid website traffic or login issues near the deadline.
Step 4: Complete One-Time Registration (OTR)
If you have not created OTR on the new SSC website, you must do it first. Once generated, the new OTR remains valid for all future SSC exams.
Note: OTR created on the old site (ssc.nic.in) will not work.

Step 5: Opt for Aadhaar-Based Authentication (Recommended)
While doing OTR, choose Aadhaar Authentication if possible. It ensures your application won’t be rejected for photo/signature issues and no need to carry photo ID or extra photos to the exam centre.
Step 6: Capture Live Photograph During Application
The system will capture your photo in real time using your camera. Ensure your full face is inside the camera frame.
Step 7: Ensure Photo Matches Exam Appearance
Your appearance in the exam must match the photo taken. Do not take a photo of an old photograph, this leads to rejection.
Step 8: Upload Signature Properly
Upload scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format (10–20 KB). Size: 6 cm width × 2 cm height. Blurred or tiny signatures may lead to rejection.
Step 9: Pay the application fee and preview the Application Before Final Submit
Use the Preview option to verify personal details, photo and signature quality. Submit only after checking everything carefully. Also, take a printout of the final form.
SSC Selection Post Phase 14 Application Fee 2026
The last date to pay the application fee is 5th May 2026. It can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Master, Maestro Card, or by RuPay Credit or Debit Card.
Total amount to be paid is Rs. 100/- (applicable only to General/OBC candidates.
Fee is exempted only for SC/ST/Women/PwD/ESM candidates.

- Name Mismatches: Spelling errors in your name or your parents’ name that do not precisely match official documents.
- Wrong Selection: Choosing the incorrect post or region during the application process.
- Invalid Contact Information: Providing an inactive email ID or an incorrect mobile number, which can hinder important communications.
- Skipping Review: Forgetting to thoroughly preview and review the entire application form before making the final submission.
- Unpaid Fees: Failing to pay the application fee, if it is applicable to your category or post.
- Multiple Applications: Submitting multiple applications without proper justification, which can lead to disqualification.
SSC Selection Post Application Correction Window 2026
After the application process is over, SSC will open a 3-day correction window where you can edit your form and submit it again. You can edit and resubmit the form only two times during this period. SSC will consider only the latest corrected form as valid. You must pay a correction fee:
- Rs. 200 for the first correction
- Rs .500 for the second correction
The correction fee must be paid online and will not be refunded.
