The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announce the SSC CPO Physical Test 2026 dates on its official website. Candidates who qualified in the Tier 1 Computer-Based Test are now shortlisted for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Weight Standards

For the SSC CPO Physical Test 2026, candidates are required to maintain a body weight proportionate to their height to ensure overall physical fitness.

Special Rules in SSC CPO Physical Test 2026

There are certain exemptions for ex-servicemen, as well as certain rules and regulations to be followed in case of tattoos and pregnancy. The special rules have been discussed in detail below:

Ex-Servicemen:

Ex-servicemen are fully exempt from the Physical Endurance Test (PET). However, they must still clear the Physical Standard Test (PST) and pass the Detailed Medical Examination (DME). There is no relaxation in height or chest standards for ex-servicemen.

Pregnancy Rules for Female Candidates:

SSC provides fair conditions for female candidates who are pregnant at the time of the physical test. If a candidate is found to be pregnant, she is temporarily disqualified but is NOT permanently rejected. She is allowed to appear for the physical test 6 weeks after delivery, and her vacancy remains reserved as per SSC rules.

Tattoo Rules:

Tattoos are permitted under SSC CPO Recruitment, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The tattoo must contain only religious symbols or names.
  • It should be located only on the inner forearm or the back of the hand.
  • The size must not exceed one-fourth (1/4th) of the respective body part.
  • Offensive or inappropriate content in any tattoo will lead to disqualification.
