The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025 and Cut Off today on 18th December 2025, @ssc.gov.in. Candidates who have appeared for the Tier 1 computer-based test from 12th to 26th September 2025, followed by a re-exam on 14th October 2025, can now check whether they qualified or not. SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025 Out
The SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 is the first stage of the Combined Graduate Level Exam 2025. Those who qualify in Tier 1 exam will be eligible for the Tier 2 stage, which consists of an Objective paper and skill test for some posts. The Commission aims to select eligible candidates for 14582 Group B and C vacancies such as ASO, Inspector, Assistant, JSO, etc., in various Central Govt Departments/Institutions/Ministries.
The SSC CGL Tier-II, 2025 is tentatively scheduled to be held in the third week of January 2026. Shortlisted candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website of the Commission for further updates.

- This year, 28.15 lakh applicants have submitted their applications for the SSC CGL exam.
- Out of 28+ lakh candidates, only around 13 lakh candidates have actually appeared for the Tier 1 exam.

The SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam consists of Paper-I and Paper-II, both of which are objective-type, multiple-choice tests, except for Section-IV of Paper-I.
Language of the Questions
- Most questions are available in English and Hindi.
- However, the English Language & Comprehension section in Paper-I will be only in English.
Negative Marking
- Paper-I (Sections I, II, III) – 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Paper-II – 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
