SSC CGL Result 2025 Out, Tier 1 Merit List and Post-wise Cut Off Marks

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL Result 2025 for the Tier 1 exam on its website www.ssc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam must check their qualifying status and cut-off provided here. Those who have qualified in Tier 1 are now eligible to appear for Tier 2 exam scheduled for 18th and 19th January 2026. The scorecard will be made available soon on the website, but, candidates are advised to first check their selection status.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2025 was conducted from 12 to 26 September 2025, with a re-exam held on 14 October 2025. A total of 1,39,395 candidates have been shortlisted from 2.8 million applicants. The score card and final answer key of those who appeared will be released within few weeks at www.ssc.gov.in.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam 2025- Paper Details & Important Tips

The SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam consists of Paper-I and Paper-II, both of which are objective-type, multiple-choice tests, except for Section-IV of Paper-I.

• Most questions will be available in both English and Hindi.
• The English Language & Comprehension section in Paper-I will be only in English.
• Negative marking applies in both papers.
• In Paper-I (Sections I, II, and III), 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
• In Paper-II, 0.5 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
