The Delhi Police has officially announced the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) schedule for shortlisted candidates under the Delhi Police Examination 2025. As per the official notice, the Delhi Police Physical Test 2026 is scheduled to commence from 25 July 2026 (Saturday) for candidates shortlisted for the posts of Constable (Executive) Male & Female, Constable (Driver), Head Constable (Ministerial), and Head Constable (AWO/TPO).

Candidates who have qualified the written examination should start preparing for the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). They must also keep all the required original documents ready, as document verification will be conducted during the PE&MT process. 

Delhi Police has notified that the PE&MT for all shortlisted candidates will begin from 25 July 2026. Individual reporting dates, timings, and venues will be mentioned on the candidates’ admit cards. The e-Admit Card for the physical test will be released soon on the Delhi Police recruitment portal.

Delhi Police Physical Test Schedule 2026

According to the official notice, the Delhi Police Physical Test 2026 is likely to commence from 25 July 2026. The physical test will be conducted in phases for all shortlisted candidates. Candidates should note the following:

• PE&MT will begin from 25 July 2026 (Saturday).
• Reporting date, time, and venue will be mentioned on the e-Admit Card.
• Candidates should report well before the scheduled time.
• No request for a change in date, venue, or reporting time will be accepted.
• Candidates who fail to appear on their allotted date will be treated as absent, and no second opportunity will be provided.

Delhi Police Physical Test Admit Card 2026

Delhi Police will soon activate the PE&MT Admit Card download link on its official recruitment website. Candidates will have to log in using their registration credentials to download the admit card. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the e-Admit Card. Entry to the PE&MT venue will not be allowed without it.

Delhi Police Physical Test Selection Process 2026

Candidates must first qualify the Physical Endurance Test. Only those who clear the race will be permitted to participate in the Long Jump and High Jump events. Candidates qualifying all PET events will then undergo the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The shortlisted candidates will undergo the following stages before final selection:

Delhi Police Physical Endurance Test (PET) Process

The Physical Endurance Test is qualifying in nature and consists of three events held in the following sequence: 

1. Race
2. Long Jump
3. High Jump

Important points regarding PET:

• The race will be conducted first.
• Only candidates qualifying the race can participate in the Long Jump and High Jump.
• Candidates will get three attempts each for Long Jump and High Jump.
• No appeal against disqualification in any PET event will be entertained.
• PMT will be conducted only after qualifying the PET.

Driving Licence Requirements for Delhi Police Posts

The official notice prescribes different driving licence requirements for Constable (Executive) and Constable (Driver) posts. Candidates not possessing the required licence on the specified date will not be considered eligible for the respective post. 

Female Candidates Guidelines for Delhi Police Physical Test 2026

The official notice contains special provisions for female candidates who are pregnant, have recently delivered a child, or have suffered a miscarriage at the time of the Physical Endurance Test (PET). Such candidates:

• May not be allowed to participate in the Physical Endurance Test (PET).
• Will be declared temporarily unfit until the prescribed confinement period is over, as mentioned in the recruitment notification.
• Must submit an application along with supporting medical documents at the scheduled PE&MT venue on the allotted date.
