The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the approved vacancies for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) for the year 2025 on 23rd September 2025. As per the latest Railway Board notification, a total of 8875 vacancies have been sanctioned under NTPC categories for the upcoming RRB NTPC 2025 recruitment. These vacancies will be filled through a Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) to be issued soon by the RRBs.

RRB NTPC Vacancy 2025 Eligibility
Nationality – Candidate must be an Indian citizen or meet the criteria for subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (before 1 Jan 1962), or persons of Indian origin from specified countries intending permanent settlement.
Age Limit:
- Undergraduate posts (12th pass): 18-33 years
- Graduate posts (degree holders): 18-36 years
- Relaxation: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwD (10–15 years), Ex-servicemen & Govt./Railway staff as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
- Undergraduate level posts: 12th (10+2) or equivalent.
- Graduate level posts: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
RRB NTPC Selection Stages
The NTPC Selection procedure consists of multiple stages, as shown in the table below.
