APSSB CGL Selection Process

The APSSB CGL Recruitment 2026 selection process is conducted in two stages to evaluate both the knowledge and practical skills of candidates. Applicants must qualify in each stage to move forward.

• Written Examination: The first stage is an objective-type exam consisting of multiple-choice questions from relevant subjects. It serves as a screening test, and candidates are shortlisted for the next stage based on their performance. Generally, candidates are selected in a 1:3 ratio for the skill test.
• Skill Test: Candidates who qualify in the written exam are called for the skill test, which carries 50 marks. This stage assesses the practical skills required for the post. To pass, candidates must score at least 33% marks in the skill test
