Railway Recruitment Board will organize the RRB NTPC 2026 Graduate Level Examination in three shifts each day to manage the large number of candidates appearing for the exam. Candidates should carefully check their reporting time and gate closing time, as entry to the examination centre will not be permitted after the gates are closed.

Shift 1 Timings:

• Reporting Time: 7:30 AM
• Gate Closing Time: 8:30 AM
• Exam Start Time: 9:00 AM
• Exam End Time: 10:30 AM

Shift 2 Timings:

• Reporting Time: 11:15 AM
• Gate Closing Time: 12:15 PM
• Exam Start Time: 12:45 PM
• Exam End Time: 2:15 PM

Shift 3 Timings:

• Reporting Time: 3:00 PM
• Gate Closing Time: 4:00 PM
• Exam Start Time: 4:30 PM
• Exam End Time: 6:00 PM

1. Morning Shift (Shift 1): The exam will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Candidates should report by 7:30 AM, and the gates will close at 8:30 AM.
2. Afternoon Shift (Shift 2): Scheduled from 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM, with reporting at 11:15 AM. Gates will close strictly at 12:15 PM.
3. Evening Shift (Shift 3): Conducted between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM. Reporting time is 3:00 PM, and the gates will shut at 4:00 PM.

To avoid last-minute stress, candidates are advised to arrive at the exam centre at least 15–30 minutes before their reporting time.

To accommodate a large number of candidates across various zones, the Railway Recruitment Board conducts the RRB NTPC examination in three shifts each day.
