What Happens After RRB ALP CBT 2 Result 2025?
Once the CBT 2 results are announced, qualified candidates will move on to the CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test) stage. Final selection will be based on performance in CBAT, Document Verification, and a Medical Examination. CBT 2 consists of two parts, and details of the next phase—CBAT (Psycho Test)—are outlined below.
RRB ALP 2025 CBAT (Psycho Test) Overview
The CBAT is designed to assess a candidate’s mental alertness, decision-making ability, observation skills, and psychometric aptitude. It is qualifying in nature, and no negative marking is applied. To pass, candidates must score at least 42 marks in each test.
This stage includes five types of tests, each with a fixed time limit:
1. Memory Test: Assesses the ability to recall visual and spatial information.
a) Map Memorization: Study a map with structures; later, mark their positions.
b) Figure Matching: Match one figure on the left with five options on the right.
c) Railway Station Map: Memorize station locations on a study page and recall them on the test page.
2. Following Directions Test: Evaluates comprehension and execution of instructions.
a) Letter Pattern Analysis: Determine how directions change letter patterns.
b) Circle & Square Layout: Use a circular layout with letters and numbers to answer direction-based questions.
3. Depth Perception Test: Tests spatial understanding and ability to judge distance.
a) Brick Pile Test: Count bricks that touch labeled bricks.
b) Block Pile Test: Count blocks hidden by others in a 3D stack.
4. Test of Power of Observation: Checks the ability to observe and compare data quickly under time pressure.
a) Number Comparison: Compare two numbers and identify if they’re identical (Y/N).
b) Digit Detection: Among four digit groups (A–D), identify which contains a “6”. If “6” appears more than once, choose ‘E’.
5. Perceptual Speed Test: This section measures how quickly a candidate can identify and match visual patterns.
(a) It assesses your speed in recognizing and comparing figures accurately under time constraints.
(b) A reference figure is shown on the left, along with five similar-looking figures on the right. You must determine which one of the five exactly matches the figure on the left.
