Official Corrections in Pharmacist Merit List

WCL has also released an official corrigendum revising the merit order for the Pharmacist (Trainee) recruitment. The revised merit list supersedes the earlier order issued on 11 June 2026 and is effective retrospectively from the same date.

The revised placements are as follows:

• Neeraj Pawar has been placed between 5th position (Swati Nilesh Parkhi) and 6th position (Pawan Sudhakar Zilpe).
• Deepak Manekar has been placed immediately after 7th position (Prashant Umrao Dupare).

Post-Selection Guidelines for Selected Candidates

Candidates whose names appear in the merit list must comply with the post-selection formalities prescribed by WCL. These instructions are specifically mentioned for Pharmacist (Trainee) and generally apply to other T&S Grade C and Grade D trainee posts as well.

Reporting Timeline

Selected candidates must report to the concerned Regional General Manager of their allotted area within 30 days from the date of the office order.

Failure to join within the stipulated period will lead to automatic cancellation of the selection without any further communication.

Probation Period

All newly appointed candidates will undergo a six-month probation period from the date of joining.

During this period, WCL may extend the probation or revert the employee to the previous position if their performance is found to be unsatisfactory.

Selected trainees will undergo one year of mandatory training from the date of joining. After successfully completing the training period, candidates will be confirmed in their respective posts. Their final place of posting within the allotted region will be decided by the concerned Regional General Manager.
