RML Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria 2025, Check Qualifications and Age Limit

The Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (DR RMLIMS), Lucknow, has released the official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025. This recruitment aims to fill 422 Nursing Officer vacancies across various categories. The applications for the RML Nursing Officer will soon be live from the 1st week of November 2025.

RML Nursing Officer Eligibility Criteria 2025

Educational Qualification for RML Nursing Officer

Candidates must meet any one of the following qualification conditions:

Option 1 – Degree Qualification

• B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing from an INC-recognised Institute or University, or
  B.Sc (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing from an INC-recognised Institute or University.
• Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council.

Option 2 – Diploma Qualification

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC-recognised Institute or Board.
• Must be registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council.
• Must have two years of work experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after qualification.

Note: Experience must be post-qualification and certified on official letterhead with hospital bed strength mentioned.

RML Nursing Officer Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years (as on the last date of application)

Age Relaxation (as per UP Govt. rules):

• SC/ST/OBC (U.P.): 5 years
• Government Employees (3 years continuous service): 5 years
• PwBD Candidates: 5 years for UR, 10 years for OBC/SC/ST
• Dependents of Freedom Fighters & Ex-servicemen: as per applicable rules.

Reservation & Domicile Requirements

• Reservation benefits apply only to Uttar Pradesh domicile candidates.
• SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificates must be issued by the competent UP authority within six months before the CBT.
• Candidates from other states will be considered Unreserved (UR).
• Horizontal reservation applies to PwBD, Dependents of Freedom Fighters, and Ex-servicemen as per existing state rules.
