Bihar DCECE Courses & Eligibility 2026

The Bihar DCECE Paramedical Entrance Exam covers three distinct course groups:

Polytechnic Engineering (PE)

Course Level: Secondary Level (Matriculation).

Educational Qualification: Must meet the requirements specified by the AICTE and the Department of Science, Technology, and Technical Education, Government of Bihar.

Age Limit: There is no minimum or maximum age limit prescribed for this course group.

2. Para Medical (Secondary Level) [PMM]

Course Type: Para Medical Dresser courses.

Educational Qualification: Must fulfill the eligibility conditions set by the Health Department, Government of Bihar.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 15 years as of December 31, 2026.
• Maximum Age: 30 years as of December 31, 2026.

3. Para Medical (Intermediate Level) [PM]

This group includes Nursing and various other diploma courses. Eligibility is governed by the Health Department of Bihar and the Nursing Council of India.

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM):

• Minimum Age: 17 years as of December 31, 2026.
• Maximum Age: 35 years as of December 31, 2026.

Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM):

• Minimum Age: 17 years as of December 31, 2026.
• Maximum Age: 35 years as of December 31, 2026 (per Nursing Council of India guidelines).
