• To be eligible for the post of Drug Inspector, a candidate must possess any one of the following qualifications from a university established in India by law:

• Minimum 18 months’ experience in the manufacture of at least one substance specified in Schedule C, or
• Minimum 18 months’ experience in testing of at least one Schedule-C substance in a laboratory approved by the licensing authority, or
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the inspection of firms manufacturing Schedule-C substances during service as a Drug Inspector.
