NIACL AO Reserve List 2026 Out: Contingency List Released for Pre-Employment Medical Examination

The New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) has released the NIACL AO Reserve List 2026 (Contingency List) for the recruitment of Administrative Officer (Scale-I) (Generalists & Specialists), 2025.

Candidates whose names appear in the contingency list have been provisionally selected for the Pre-Employment Medical Examination against the unfilled vacancies of the recruitment process. The list has been released on 23 July 2026 and is available on the official NIACL recruitment portal.

The contingency list has been published to fill vacancies that remained unfilled after the initial round of appointments. Candidates shortlisted in the reserve list will now have to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination before their appointment is finalised. Individual intimation regarding the medical examination is being sent to shortlisted candidates through their registered email IDs and mobile numbers.

As per the official notice, shortlisted candidates must report to the regional office mentioned against their name for the Pre-Employment Medical Examination.

1. Visit the official NIACL website.
2. Go to the Recruitment section.
3. Click on the NIACL AO Recruitment 2025 notifications.
4. Open the link titled “Provisionally Selected Candidates for Pre-Employment Medical Examination – Contingency List.”
5. Download the PDF.
6. Search your Roll Number or Name using Ctrl + F.
7. Save the PDF for future reference.

What Happens After the Medical Examination?

The final appointment of shortlisted candidates is subject to:

• Successful completion of the Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
• Verification of biometric credentials.
• Verification of educational qualifications.
• Age proof and identity documents.
• Caste/EWS/PwBD certificates (where applicable).
• Any other documents prescribed by NIACL.

If any candidate is found ineligible or has furnished incorrect, false, or incomplete information at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled, even after appointment.
