Delhi Police Constable Selection Process

The Staff Selection Commission(SSC) conducts the Delhi Police Constable Exam on behalf of the Delhi Police to recruit candidates for the post of Constable. This year, Delhi Police announced a total of 7,565 Constable posts for males and females. The application period is from 22nd September 2025 to 21st October 2025. The stage-wise Delhi Police Constable selection process consists of four stages:

DP Selection Process 2025 Stage 1

The first stage in the Delhi Police Constable Selection Process is the written exam. It consists of a total of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks, with a total duration of 90 minutes. DP Selection Process 2025 Stage 2

Once you clear the CBT, you’ll be called for the physical tests. This stage has two parts- Physical Standard Test/Measurement and Physical Endurance Test. The Delhi Police Constable selection process includes the Physical Endurance Test as one of the important components of this stage. This test is conducted to check if the candidates are physically fit for the post of Constable. In this test, the passing requirements will differ for men and women. These are qualifying in nature; you need to meet the standard and not necessarily get scores.

DP Selection Process 2025 Document Verification

After clearing CBE and PE&MT, the next stage in the Delhi Police Constable Selection Process is document verification. Common documents include your Admit Card, Identity proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, etc.), Age proof (10th certificate or birth certificate), Education certificates (10+2), Caste certificate (if applicable), Domicile certificate (if required), No Objection Certificate (if employed), and Passport-size photos.
