IB Security Assistant Motor Transport Eligibility Criteria 2025
To be considered for the selection process, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria specified by the Intelligence Bureau (IB). These qualifications are categorised as Essential and Desirable:
Age Limit (As on 28.9.2025)
The age limit for the Security Assistant (Motor Transport) position is 18 to 27 years, with the age calculated as of September 28, 2025. Your birth date must be within this range to be eligible. The government provides age relaxations for certain reserved categories and special groups.
Age Relaxation Details:
- SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year age relaxation.
- OBC candidates are given a 3-year age relaxation.
- Central Government civilian employees with at least 3 years of continuous service can apply up to 40 years of age.
- The maximum age limit for widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated from their husbands (who have not remarried) is relaxed as follows:
