BPSC AEDO Exam Date 2026 Out

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially announced the exam dates for the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) Competitive Examination 2025. The Commission will conduct the  सहायक शिक्षा विकास अधिकारी (AEDO) Exam 2026 in three phases.

The exam will be held in two shifts daily—

• Morning (10:00 AM to 12:00 PM) for General Language or General Aptitude, and
• Afternoon (02:30 PM to 04:30 PM) for General Studies.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially released the BPSC AEDO Exam Date for the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) Competitive Examination 2025 under Advertisement No. 87/2025. The written (objective) competitive examination for the post of Assistant Education Development Officer will be conducted as per the following schedule at various district examination centres across the state.

BPSC AEDO Exam Centre List 2026

BPSC AEDO 2026 exam will be held in many districts across Bihar. Your exam centre will be allotted based on the city you selected during the application process.
Here are the expected exam centre cities:

• Central Bihar: Patna, Nalanda, Jehanabad, Arwal
• North Bihar: Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Champaran
• South Bihar: Gaya, Aurangabad, Nawada, Rohtas, Buxar
• East Bihar: Bhagalpur, Munger, Lakhisarai, Jamui
• North-East Bihar: Saharsa, Purnia, Araria, Kishanganj, Katihar

A few things to keep in mind. Your final exam centre will be printed on your admit card. BPSC does not allow candidates to change their exam city. Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before your shift starts. You will not be allowed to enter without your admit card.

BPSC AEDO (सहायक शिक्षा विकास पदाधिकारी) Exam Pattern 2026

BPSC AEDO Exam Pattern 2026 consists of objective-type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The written examination includes three papers, each carrying 100 questions and 100 marks. Candidates must understand the paper-wise structure carefully to prepare effectively for the exam.

3. General Aptitude

Each paper is conducted for 2 hours, and all questions will be objective.

Marking Scheme

• +1 mark for every correct answer
