IBPS PO 1st Shift Conclusion
Shift 1 of IBPS PO Prelims 2026 had an overall moderate difficulty level. English section was easy, whereas Reasoning and Quants was easy to moderate. Quant DI sets were simple one-liners. Students who attempted 65-72 questions in total with good accuracy have a solid chance of clearing the cutoff. If you have upcoming shifts, focus on:
- Puzzles and seating arrangements in Reasoning (these had the highest weightage)
- Cloze test and error detection in English
- Arithmetic questions in Quant, since they carried the most marks in that section
