The Government of Assam has launched a major employment initiative called “Mission 2 Lakh Govt Jobs” to create large-scale job opportunities for the youth of the state. Under this campaign, the government plans to provide nearly 2 lakh government jobs across various departments, offices, institutions, and public sector bodies in the coming years.
