UPCATET Exam 2024

The UP Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) is a state-level exam that grants admission to various UG and PG programs in agriculture-related fields. Applicants who are residents of Uttar Pradesh and have a domicile in UP are eligible to take this admission exam.

These courses are available at several universities, including Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda, Kumarganj, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut, and Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur. Documents Need To Apply For UPCATET

On March 17, 2024, the UPCATET 2024 exam registration procedure officially began. The deadline for UPCATET 2024 applications has been increased to May 17, 2024, as per the new official announcement. You need to have the following documents ready to begin the application process.

An ID certified by the Government of India
Proof of permanent address
Birth certificate
Marksheets for classes 10 and 12
Disability certificate, if any
Caste/Category certificate
Father’s ID card

How to Apply For UPCATET

You can start the process by clicking on the link above or following the steps to apply from the official website.

Step 1- Select the ‘New Registration’ tab and tick the ‘I agree’ button.
Step 2- The registration credentials will be produced once candidates click the “New Registration” page,
Step 3- Log in to the UPCATET application form and complete all the details.
Step 4- Complete the form with the required payment after filling in all details.
Step 5- You must use a debit card or net banking to pay the application fee online.

UPCATET Application Fees

To complete the form, you should make sure to pay the application fees online. Without payment, application forms will not be considered, and admit cards will not be issued for those forms. For category-wise fee details check the following:

UPCATET Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the UPCATET 2024 exam, you must know the qualifying requirements. The eligibility requirements state that you need to have spent a minimum of five years residing in UP. You may still take the UPCATET 2024 exam even if you do not now live in the state of Uttar Pradesh but your ancestors did.
You must, however, ensure that you fulfill the prerequisites for each course and supply residential verification. Here is a list of a few of those:

	Home Science BSc (Honors) and BFsc	One must be 10+2 graduates in a combination of PCB, PCM, PCMB, and agricultural science.
	BTech in Mechanical, ECE, and CSE	Must possess a current 10+2 transcript that includes PCM/PCMB.
Postgraduate Courses	MBA, MSc, and MV Sc	MBA, MSc, and MV Sc All applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree with a 5.50 out of 10 (or 5.00 for SC/ST) from an accredited university.
Postgraduate Courses	Masters of Technology (M.Tech)	Candidates must have a master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited university.
