• MP General Knowledge: Focus only on Madhya Pradesh. Learn the flow of rivers like Narmada, Chambal and Betwa, the dams built on them and the districts they pass through. Memorise tribal dances like Bhagoria and Matki, important festivals and famous MP personalities from politics, sports and arts. For current affairs, study only the last 6 months with special focus on MP government schemes such as Ladli Behna Yojana.

In Paper 2 the goal is to ccore high through strong horticulture-based technical knowledge.

Fruit Science: Prepare master charts for Mango, Guava, Citrus, Papaya and Banana with botanical name, family, chromosome number, origin, propagation method and spacing. Remember propagation methods like T-budding for citrus and rose and air-layering for guava and litchi. Learn physiological disorders such as spongy tissue in mango and zinc-deficiency bronzing in guava.

Vegetable Science: Focus on tomato, brinjal, chilli, cabbage and cauliflower. Memorise seed rates for hybrids and open-pollinated varieties. Know disorders like blossom end rot in tomato (calcium deficiency) and buttoning in cauliflower (nitrogen deficiency).

Floriculture & Spices: Learn rose pruning time, marigold seed rate and gladiolus corms. In spices like cumin, coriander and fennel, focus on family (Umbelliferae) and essential oil content.
