IBPS RRB Agriculture Officer Notification 2025, Check Eligibility and Selection Process

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will soon be releasing the IBPS RRB Agriculture Officer Notification for the Common Recruitment Process for Regional Rural Banks. This online recruitment exam will be conducted to recruit CRP RRBs-XIV (Office Assistants) and CRP RRBs-XIV (Officers Scale I, II & III). Though the notification is yet to be released, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection have released their calendar comprising the tentative dates for the IBPS RRB Agriculture Officer exam. Following the IBPS Calendar 2025-26, aspirants can expect the IBPS RRB AO exam to be conducted on 13 September 2025. Aspirants with an educational background in Agriculture can apply for the Specialist Officer role under the CRP RRBs-XIV (Officers Scale II) section.

Nationality

The candidate must be a citizen of India. However, citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who migrated to India before 1 January 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement, may also be eligible as per IBPS rules.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy Science, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, or any related field. The degree should be from a university recognized by the Government of India.

Work Experience

Candidates applying for the Agriculture Officer post under Scale II must possess a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the relevant agricultural field. This experience should ideally involve hands-on knowledge or exposure to agriculture-related practices or services.

Age Limit

As of 1 June 2025, the applicant must be at least 21 years old and not more than 32 years old. Candidates born earlier or later than the defined age bracket will not be eligible for the recruitment process.

Age Relaxation

Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable to reserved categories. SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) get 3 years, and PwD candidates are eligible for up to 10 years of relaxation, subject to proof.

IBPS RRB AO Selection Process 2025

The selection process for the IBPS RRB Agriculture Officer (Scale II) post is designed to evaluate both the technical knowledge and the interpersonal skills of the candidates. It consists of multiple stages, each playing a crucial role in identifying the most suitable individuals for the Specialist Officer role in Regional Rural Banks. 1. Single Online Written Examination
