UPRVUNL AE Selection Process 2025: Detailed Process

The selection of the candidates for the UPRVUNL AE Recruitment 2025 exam is done by following procedures. Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) will be selecting the candidates based on their performance based on the written examination & document verification process. The candidates have to qualify the stages one by one to get appointed as UPRVUNL Assistant Engineers.

Computer-Based Test

• A computer-based competitive exam (CBT Exam) is taken in two phases-
• Part I: 150 objective-type questions from the syllabus of a degree in a relevant Branch of Engineering as per UPRVUNL AE Recruitment 2025
• Part-II: 50 objective MCQ questions from the topics of General Hindi, General Knowledge and Reasoning according to UPRVUNL AE Recruitment 2025.

Interview and Document Verification

• Based on their scores in the written exam, candidates will be selected, and the merit list will be prepared.
• Selected candidates will be further called for document verification in the UPRVUNL AE Exam.

UPRVUNL AE Selection Process 2025: Detailed Exam Pattern

The detailed exam pattern of Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited for the post of Assistant Engineer includes a computer-based objective test (CBT Exam), which is further divided into phases.

Part I

There will be 150 objective-type questions based on the degree course of (Electrical/Mechanical/ Electronics & Instrumentation/Computer Science/Civil Engineering).

Part II

In this part, there are 50 objective-type questions which will be asked on General Hindi, General Knowledge, and Reasoning.
