Who is Eligible for RRC GDCE Recruitment 2026?
Candidates who fulfill the given eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification are eligible for the Recruitment.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be a regular employee of Central Railway.
- Employees transferred or resigned from Central Railway are not eligible.
- RPF/RPSF personnel cannot apply under the GDCE quota.
- Candidates cannot apply for the same post for which they are currently working.

RRC Central Railway GDCE Selection Process
The selection process includes multiple stages as per the post applied for.
Computer-Based Test
- ALP: Candidates are shortlisted for the CBAT based on their CBT marks. There is no negative marking in the CBAT.
- Station Master: Candidates are shortlisted based on their CBT marks.
- Other Posts: Candidates are shortlisted based on their CBT marks.
Skill Test
- Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Junior Clerk cum Typist: A typing test is required for these posts (30 words per minute in English or 25 in Hindi on a computer, without editing tools). Kruti Dev and Mangal fonts will be provided for Hindi typing.
Document Verification
- All original documents with two self-attested copies must be produced.
Medical Test
- Final appointment is subject to passing the prescribed Medical Fitness Test as per the Indian Railway Medical Manual (IRMM) Volume I
