Here’s detailed eligibility criteria for the recruitment is given below:

Chief Design Expert/Civil	Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equi valent OR Post Graduate Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent	Minimum 8 years (for Bachelor’s Degree holders) or 6 years (for Postgraduate Degree holders) of design experience in Railway Embankments, bridges, tunnels, station buildings, and earth-retaining structures in railway infrastructure projects, or equivalent work with Project Management Consultants, General Consultants, or Construction Agencies.
R&R Social Expert	Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related fields OR Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent Preferable: Along with Bachelor’s/PostGraduate Degree, candidates having Certification in Social Science Programmes shall be preferred.	Minimum 7 years of experience in Social Impact Assessment, Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R&R) under infrastructure projects. Must have knowledge of RFCTLARR Act, 2013, and relevant national/state R&R policies. Experience in monitoring social safeguards and implementing gender action plans for MDB/AIIB-funded projects is desirable. Preference for candidates with Metro/Railway project experience.
Environmental Expert	Bachelor’s Degree in Environment Engineering/ Environment Management or equivalent OR Post Graduate Degree in Environment Engineering or equivalent	Minimum 5 years (for Bachelor’s Degree holders) or 3 years (for Master’s Degree holders) in Environmental Management and Monitoring for Railway/Highway infrastructure projects or equivalent works. Preference for candidates with MDB-financed project experience.
Sr. Design Expert-Civil	Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent OR Post Graduate Degree in Structural Engineering (Civil) or equivalent	Minimum 5 years (for Bachelor’s Degree holders) or 3 years (for Master’s Degree holders) in Environmental Management and Monitoring for Railway/Highway infrastructure projects or equivalent works. Preference for candidates with MDB-financed project experience.
Sr. Resident Engineer/ General Electrification	Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent OR Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent.	Minimum 4 years (for Degree holders) or 6 years (for Diploma holders) in General Electrical Services related to railway electrification projects.
Sr. Resident Engineer/Civil	Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent. OR Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution or equivalent.	Minimum 4 years (for Degree holders) or 6 years (for Diploma holders) in construction/supervision of railway infrastructure projects involving earthworks, bridges, and station buildings. Preference for candidates with experience in DFCC or RVNL projects.
Sr. Contract Expert	Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent OR Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent Preferable: Along with Degree/Diploma, candidates having Certification in Project Management / Construction Management from a recognized institution shall be preferred.	Minimum 4 years (for Degree holders) or 6 years (for Diploma holders) in procurement strategy, tender documentation, bid process management, and contract management for railway infrastructure projects or equivalent works.
Assistant Safety and Health Expert	Diploma in any branch of Engineering Preferable: 1. Certification Course on Safety for Infrastructure/ Construction Projects and 2. Persons having experience in Railway Projects may be preferred.	At least 2 years experience in supervision of safety works in infrastructure projects

How to Apply for RITES Recruitment 2025?

Before applying candidates should ensure that they satisfy the necessary conditions and requirements of the position:

Step 1. Interested candidates fulfilling the above laid down eligibility criteria are required to apply online in the registration format available in the Career Section of RITES website, www.rites.com.

Step 2. While submitting the online application the system would generate Registration No. Note down this Registration No. and quote it for all further communication with RITES Ltd.

Step 3. While filling up the required details, candidates are advised to carefully and correctly fill the details of “Identity Proof”. Candidates are also advised to note the same and ensure the availability of the same Identity Proof as it will be required to be produced in original at later stages of selection.

Step 4. After filling up the required details under the Fill/ Modify Application Form, candidate should submit the application.

Step 5. The candidates are also advised to keep a copy of Application Form submitted with them and to carry the same at the time of the selection.

Mode of Selection:

Considering the prevailing pandemic situation, the selection process may be conducted online, depending on the requirement and discretion of RITES.

Weightage of Selection Parameters: Interview 100% of the selection weightage.

Minimum Qualifying Marks: Unreserved (UR) / EWS candidates: 60% in the interview. SC / ST / OBC (NCL) / PWD candidates (for reserved posts): 50% in the interview.
