Age Limit
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 06.11.2025, i.e., the Date of Birth of the Candidate/Applicant should be between 06.11.2001 and 06.11.2007.
- Upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates Layer) candidates.
- Candidates belonging to PwBD categories shall be given age relaxation up to 10 years, up to 15 years for SC/ST, and up to 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates.
ONGC 2025 Selection Process
The selection of candidates for ONGC Apprenticeship will be based on merit, prepared from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. No written test or interview will be conducted.
- Selections for engagement of Apprentices would be based on merit drawn based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination as stipulated in the advertisement. In case of a similar number in merit, a person of higher age would be considered. No canvassing or influencing would be acceptable at any time and may result in rejection of the candidature.
- Reservation of positions will be followed as per the Government of India Policy on SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories.
ONGC Apprentices Stipend 2025
After completing the ONGC Apprentice merit list, selected candidates will be hired for an apprentice position. Once hired, candidates will receive a monthly ONGC Stipend is Rs. 8,200 to Rs. 12,300.
