The CBT exam for 60 Management Trainee (MT) and 60 Design Trainee (DT) vacancies across different engineering disciplines is scheduled on 5 September & 6 September 2026. Candidates who have applied successfully for the HAL MT & DT Vacancies can now check their exam date and download their hall ticket for the CBT exam.

HAL Selection Process 2026
The HAL Design Trainee and Management Trainee selection process has two stages: an Online Computer-Based Test and a Personal Interview. Candidates qualifying the online test will be shortlisted discipline-wise and category-wise for the interview at Bengaluru.

| Final Merit List |
The final selection list will be prepared with 85% weightage for the online test and 15% weightage for the interview. |
| Qualifying Marks |
