DDA JE Detailed Eligibility Criteria 2025

1. Educational Qualification
- Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution or equivalent.
- Surveyor: Either a Diploma in Surveying or a two-year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Surveying from a recognized institute. In addition, candidates must have two years of work experience in surveying.
2. Age Limit
- JE (Civil): 18 to 27 years.
- Surveyor: 18 to 25 years.
- Age relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
- Departmental candidates: Up to 40 years (JE), as per rules.
- SC/ST: 5 years
3. Nationality
The candidate must be:
- A citizen of India,
- Or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan,
- Or a Tibetan refugee settled in India before 1st January 1962,
- Or a person of Indian origin from select countries intending to settle permanently in India.
4. PwBD Eligibility
Candidates with locomotor disability (one arm/leg) and hearing impairment can apply. The minimum benchmark disability must be 40% or more, as defined under the RPwD Act, 2016.
