For ITI Trade Apprentices (NAPS Portal)

Steps to Apply:

1. Visit the official NAPS portal-www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
2. Click on ‘Candidate Login/Register’ and create an account if you are a new user.
3. Complete the profile by entering personal, educational, and trade details.
4. Search for ‘CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute’ in the establishment section.
5. Select the desired trade and click on Apply.
6. Download and fill out the application form in the prescribed format from the link provided below.
7. Submit the duly filled form to the Recruitment Cell, CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar, on or before 2nd December 2025.

CSIR CSMCRI Apprentice Selection Process 2025

The selection process involves three stages;

1. Shortlisting based on Merit 

• Applications received in the prescribed format will be carefully screened by the institute. Incomplete applications or those missing details like postal address, email ID, or mobile number will be rejected.

2. Interview

• Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview schedule (date, time, and venue) via Speed Post or Email. The final merit will be prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the interview.

3. Document Verification

• Candidates must bring original certificates of educational qualification, date of birth, caste, and other documents for verification during the interview. Failure to produce the required documents may lead to disqualification from the selection process.

CSIR CSMCRI Apprentice Salary Details

The stipend amount is fixed based on the level of education and is paid monthly for the complete duration of the apprenticeship, and will be as per the Apprentice Act, 1961 norms. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research will provide a handsome stipend to the interns selected for the internship program at CSMCRI. The remuneration paid monthly to the apprentice will be notified after the selection of the candidates.
