DHSE Kerala conducted the Kerala Plus Two exams 2024 from March 1 to 26 and now the board has announced the results.  The Kerala Minister for General Education, V Sivankutty, released the results of the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations at 3 p.m. today in Thiruvananthapuram. This time, 294888 students passed the Kerala Plus Two exam out of a total of 441120 candidates who appeared with 2,23,736 boys and 2,17,384 girls.  In the Higher Secondary exam, the pass rate has reduced to 4.26% from the prior year. This time, the pass percentage is 78.69, while last year, it was 82.95.

Shivankutty has announced an inquiry into the government schools’ poor performance in the Plus Two test and ordered to submit the reports in two weeks. In the Kerala Plus Two test, Ernakulam district scores the highest (84.12 percent), while Wayanad scores the lowest (72.13 percent).

The Board official has released the pass percentage of all three streams. Under the regular school category, 1,89,411 students took the science exam, 76,235 for the arts, and 1,09,109 for commerce. This time, the pass percentage in the science stream is 84.84 percent compared to 87.31 percent in the last AY. The pass percentage in Commerce is 76.11 percent, down from 82.75 percent the previous year, and the pass % in Humanities is 67.09 percent, down from 71.93 percent in Last year.

Plus Two Result 2024 School wise Pass Rate

This year only seven government schools obtained a 100 percent pass rate. As the pass rate of government schools has declined sharply,  an inquiry will be conducted to find out the reason for the government schools’ poor performance in the Plus Two test.  In unaided schools, 26,071 students took the exam, with this year’s pass percentage of 74.51 percent. In aided schools, the pass percentage is 82.47 percent, with 1,84,490 students taking the exam. In the special school category, 274 students took the exam, and 270 passed it. The pass percentage for the special schools is 98.54%.

Kerala Plus Two Toppers List 2024

The DHSE Kerala will not provide the list of top students in the Class 12 (+2) Exam 2024 in the state to avoid Unhealthy competition.  This year, 39,242 applicants received an A+ in every subject in the Plus Two examination. Up to 105 students received 100% marks in the state plus two tests.

Kerala Plus Two SAY Exam date 2024

To pass the Kerala Plus Two Exam 2024, a candidate must score at least 30 out of 100 in all subjects. Students who do not acquire the minimal passing grade must take the DHSE +2 SAY Examination. The SAY exam will run from June 12 to June 20. To retake the exam, students must fill out an application form, which may be found on the board’s official website. The application deadline is May 13.
