The National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test is a national level exam that is held each year to give admission to the Masters in Computer Application (MCA) Program at participating NITs. NIMCET 2025 Eligibility
The NIMCET 2025 eligibility criteria require applicants to be Indian citizens. They must have completed a three-year full-time BSc/BCA/BIT with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects, achieving at least 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST candidates). Those with a BE/B Tech or equivalent qualification from a recognized university are also eligible. Candidates holding a degree from an Open University, provided it is recognized by UGC, AICTE, or DEC, are eligible as well. Additionally, candidates who are in their final year of the qualifying exam may also apply.
