The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has announced the Kerala Plus Two SAY Exam Time Table 2025 along with the publication of the Kerala Class 12 final results. As per the announced exam date sheet, the Kerala Plus Two SAY (Save A Year) exam dates 2025 are scheduled for a span of four days from June 23 to 27, 2025.
Plus two Save A Year (SAY) and Improvement Exams 2025 allow students to improve their marks or retake subjects they did not pass in the March 2025 exams. The Kerala Minister for General Education, V Sivankutty, revealed the Kerala plus 2 SAY Exam dates, as well as the results of the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations, in Thiruvananthapuram. This year, there are 4,34547 registered students out of 77.81% of students who passed the DHSE exam. This statistic reveals that approximately 22% of students are unsuccessful in passing the exam.
These SAY/ Supplementary/ Improvement tests are a blessing in disguise for the students who fail to save an academic year by only getting the minimum passing scores. Who is eligible to appear in the Plus 2 SAY Exam 2025?
The DHSE Kerala conducts SAY and Improvement Exams on the above exam dates. To take the Kerala +2 SAY examinations, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- For SAY (SAVE A Year) Exam: Students registering for the March 2025 Plus Students who did not meet the eligibility requirements for higher education, can take the SAY exam in subjects with a grade below a D+.
- For Improvement Exams: Regular students who completed all subjects with a D+ or above in March 2025 can take an improvement exam for one topic alone.
- Private compartmental applicants and those who did not register for the March 2025 tests are ineligible to take the SAY/Improvement Examination in 2025.

Should I register for Kerala Plus Two SAY Exam 2025?
Yes. If you want to appear in the Kerala Plus Two SAY (Save A Year)/ improvement exam, you must again register for the same by paying the prescribed fee before the last date.
It should be noted that application forms for the supply or improvement examinations are available at schools where students have registered for the March 2025 exams. They should submit completed paperwork and a principal-attested passport-sized image to the same school.
School principals will register students online through the iExaMS portal and issue admission tickets at least three days before the exam. The deadline to apply for the Kerala Plus Two SAY (Save A Year)/Improvement Exam and reassessment for students is May 27, 2025.

Plus Two SAY Exam 2025 Application Fee
Students should submit their application form along exam fee to their school principals without any fail by the last date,
- SAY Exam: Rs. 150 per subject without practicals
- Rs. 175 per subject with practicals.
- Improvement Exam: Rs. 500 per subject.
- Certificate Fee: An additional Rs. 40.
